One of our favorite local lagoons and a must see if you know about it! Technically still a very large and deep cenote, Laguna Kaan Luum is located about 12 KM south of Tulum just off highway 307 at KM 218. Head south from Tulum towards Chetumal and look for the colorful sign to your left. Open daily at 9:00 AM and closed at 5:00 PM entry to the park is $40 pesos per person. No food or drink facilities on site so bring your cooler and umbrella if you plan to stay long. They do have some primitive bathrooms.
